Not saying this is ok, but they are doing stunt work which is a dangerous profession even with the best safety practices. You can do Happy Baby Deadpool Who’s Next Shirt everything right but sometimes things go wrong so quickly you cant react. They absolutely should have had policies in place for these kinds of things for just such a reason to pay for funeral costs, contracts paid in full to the spouse/ child/whoever the worker lists in case of such an event, as well as grief counseling for parents/children/spouses. Too bad the best safety practices were not remotely followed. The stunt performer did not have the qualifications to perform the stunt. This was a 10mph low-speed crash. Basically the operator went past the stop point, down a ramp onto a roadway.
