Probably, but I think another really big part of Hot I’ll Get There When I Get There Sloth Postal Worker Shirt it that nobody. I’ve seen has really talked about is that GameStop is deathly afraid that a lot of their customers who are in quarantine or self-isolation will start buying games digitally, and never go back. Very true. But keep in mind, if you buy a game physically you still don’t own it. Video games, like all software, are not a physical good. So when you buy a game what you’re really buying is a license to play that game. And you agree to the EULA (the L stands for licensing).

The difference is that when you buy it physically the license is tied to the disc. Whereas if you buy it digitally the license is tied to your account. There are pluses and minuses for each but in either case, you don’t actually own the game. I don’t think that’s true, at least it hasn’t been in my case. And although an account can be tied to a console, I’ve never had much problem transferring my account to a different console then re-downloading my games. Except for Nintendo, but that’s mostly because they suck.
