I know a guy who when he suffers a physical trauma has extreme swelling that if went untreated could kill him, especially Happy If You Were A Plant I Would Remember Your Name Shirt if it was around the upper torso or face. He’s basically allergic to being punched. His entire life his brother has been putting himself between this guy and whoever he pissed off enough to make them want to punch him. I firmly believe that this is why he is such a complete bellend. I was a tiny fucker growing up. My brother would beat kids up that picked on me (or that I pissed off by being a smart ass). But, he would beat the hell outta me. Because his rules were only he gets to beat me up. He was like the mafia. We have a good relationship now, but growing up the sucked ass.

Obnoxious behavior like this tends to be a result of children learning they get more attention from acting out, rather than behaving well. Every child needs attention, and when positive behavior isn’t encouraged enough it is completely natural for a child to start doing things that will grab the attention of parents/friends/teachers. It reminds me of an artist I read about years ago. Here’s a snippet of it as I remember reading. One of her pieces Happy If You Were A Plant I Would Remember Your Name Shirt was of herself and tools laid out on the table. The public was free to do however they wanted while she stood still for a few hours. It started off silly, but eventually, people began to cut her and torture her. That’s what I love about the video. Everyone is smiling and laughing about the kid having fun. Then all their expressions go all disgusted when the asshole gets in there. Then when he gets punched most kinda laugh again and the one guy looks like he’s not sure if he’s allowed to be happy the dick got punched.
