The Republican Party claims that Fauci, who has been an expert in the field for over 40 years, is literally lying about the severity of it. And yet look at the numbers Americans are looking for leadership elsewhere due to the total lack of it in DC. He’s doing things generally right. Just no one is actually listening to him. I may be wrong don’t think Fauci has any power as an adviser so he can only make recommendations, but Trump refuses to listen to him. Fauci isn’t ultimately in charge of the pandemic response, Trump is. He’s just Trump’s advisor. We were doomed from the beginning of this crisis.
