Then a horse flies buzzed by him and he immediately lost his shit and threw the pole at it. Into the lake. I consoled him instead of strangling him. One of the other dads handed me a beer. I looked a lot like that kid when I was that age, so I instantly put myself in his shoes. We had are period of time where she hated me and we were at odds with each other… I always looked up to her, but she didn’t want anything to do with me. But these days… it’s all good.
