The first verse from Cudi talking about all the shit he’s gone through and how he’s good now and then Nice Official The Adventures Of Moonman And Slim Shady Shirt wrapping it up at the end with “the trilogy continues” made it feel like an album trailer to me. I’m very hyped. I know a lot of fans love that era and PP&DS, not sure why it fell flat for me. I should probably revisit it. Guess it’s one of those things where you have expectations of earlier work for an artist and they wanna do something new. The instrumentals on pp&ds are god-tier for me notably swim in the light, by design, all in and surfing.

The whole album puts me in a trance (even tho I will agree its overly long and definitely has unneeded fluff)There’s Nice Official The Adventures Of Moonman And Slim Shady Shirt seriously something supernatural about the luck that Em has to be able to rhyme so many sequences of words and with it all fitting perfectly into the bar’s context. It’s like he’s got a third fucking eye or something. He rhymes sentences you couldn’t possibly think would fit into any context at all. Not to mention his own names (all of them) rhyme with so many things that suit the right thing at the right time. Yooo I was not expecting this to go this hard.

The beat is fire, Cudi and Eminem killed it. I was expecting a song where Cudi sang and em rapped. This Nice Official The Adventures Of Moonman And Slim Shady Shirt exceeded my expectations. 10/10 for me. Glad I stayed up for this. I think the like a shepherd fuck what you herd line wouldn’t be as hated if he didn’t emphasize that specific line and made it so serious. Wayne could’ve possibly made it sound funny beautiful atmospheric best. Eminem and Cudi’s flows sound amazing, always cool hearing Cudi straight spit. Em had a great verse, very smooth laid-back flow with some funny bars, and up to date relevant references. Don’t think 2020 will have many better songs than this.
