It’s worth the investment in Nice Cat Look What I Do I Catch Fish I’m The Best Shirt learning it! I type 96 words per minute and save hours for school papers and work assignments. Hated learning it as a kid in school but am so thankful I did. Makes accomplishing anything so much faster and it’s nice to be able to type without having to look at the keys. Oh my gosh, I did the same thing with my right pointer finger. 60 wpm and if I was writing for a while (a paper in college) I started not having to look at the keys. I knew the distance between letters. No hunt, all peck.

I wanted to say that but was afraid of downvoting. I average about 96 and don’t type “properly”. I do however use all my fingers, just not the in the proper way. The whole “home row” thing Nice Cat Look What I Do I Catch Fish I’m The Best Shirt never meant much to me. Playing Minecraft is a child online taught me to type quickly. I stand by the fact that those “learn to type websites” are only good for learning where to put your fingers: you learn to type fast by having a need to type fast in my case it was warning my teammates about an incoming blue team player in the five seconds before.
