But I loved this movie when I was very small and would watch it over and over again. My momma began to notice how kind and gentle Littlefoot’s mother is with him, and she told me she learned how to be a better mom to me from that movie. It wasn’t the first movie to make me cry (Empire of the Sun), but Grave of the Fireflies is the saddest movie ever.
