There’s no intrinsic quality that our nation (or we collectively as the citizens who comprise that nation) possess that makes us any less deserving of having a wannabe fascist in charge than any other nation that knowingly and willingly votes one into the office. Americans chose Donald Trump to be our president. Sure many of us opposed that decision and he actually got 3 million fewer votes but we also chose the system of government that allowed that to happen. Or at the very least we chose not to fix it to make things more equitable.
